Cheltenham Pilgrimage 2025
On May 2nd and 3rd…
We’ll be joining with the Cheltenham House of Prayer to complete our annual joint pilgrimage. It’s always a delight to spend a couple of days abandoning the normal rigours of life … choosing to live simply … walking with fellow disciples … in beautiful countryside … and paying attention to the invitations of God in our lives.
This year we’re completing parts of the recently created Athelstan Pilgrim Way in Wiltshire.
We’ll pick up inspiration from:
Athelstan - the first king of a united England, and a great contributor to the spiritual life of the nation, amongst other things
St Athanasius - whose feast we celebrate on 2nd May and who left us a vast legacy of theological thought, which included the Trinitarian view that’s contained in the Nicene (and other) creeds
